Aym M. Berges Ph.D.
Applications Scientist
Aym Berges received his B.A. in Biology and B.S. in Chemistry from the
University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. The world's best snow and skiing
kept him in Utah where he continued at the University of Utah and received a
Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University Of Utah Chemistry Department. The main
focus of his graduate work was to determining how certain mutations in
HIV-reverse transcriptase affected polymerase fidelity in the presence of both
canonical and damaged non-canonical DNA bases.
Dr. Berges assists with the Company's Customer Support Services, as well as its
educational programs. He is also involved with the Company's Analytical
Services.
