Michelle H. Chen, Ph.D.

Head of Analytical Services
Michelle Chen graduated from the Chemical Engineering Department, Yale University, where she studied under Professor Csaba Horvath. Her doctoral work focused on the development of novel approaches for high speed and high efficiency HPLC of biopolymers. Currently, she has been working on the characterization of synthetic and biological polymers using MALS detection combined with various branches of HPLC and FFF.

Dr. Michelle Chen is the Director of Laboratory Services and responsible for Quality Control staff and performance. She also teaches LSU and coordinates on-site training programs.
